Meet Lacey! This beautiful lady is about 6.5 years old. Lacey was originally rescued when she was 1 year old. She was found with her 3 young kittens. Lacey and her babies then moved into a foster home. Once her babies reached 3 months old they were spayed/neutered and all found forever homes. Unfortunately Lacey's socialization did not progress as we had hoped. She was not ready for adoption at that time so she came to Tabby Town to see if her socialization could be furthered. Lacey has now be a Tabby Town resident since July of 2013.

Since coming to Tabby Town Lacey has made a lot of progress but she is still very timid, she is wary of strangers, loud noises and fast movements.  The volunteers have spent a long time socializing her and helping build her confidence, it has taken her quite some time to feel comfortable. Once Lacey knows you and trusts you, you can approach her and pet her. She is actually very sweet and enjoys the attention and some brushing.

Lacey is bonded with Belle and need to be adopted together.

Lacey gets along very well with other cats, she actually seems more comfortable around other cats then people. She has never been around a dog but due to her personality a dog might be too overwhelming for her.

Due to Lacey's timid nature she would do best in a quiet, low stress home with previous cat experience and no small children.

Lacey is spayed, current on vaccinations (Rabies and Distemper) and has tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.
