Meet Findley! This handsome man is approximately 6 years old. Findley has been at Tabby Town since April of 2016.

Findley was rescued from an abusive home, and because of this he is still working to build back his trust in people. He is not skittish, but he usually prefers attention on his own terms.

He is feisty, playful, and independent. He can be very affectionate and friendly. He has become pretty comfortable at Tabby Town and enjoys walking around like the king!

One way to quickly win over Findley's heart is with treats. He loves his food and will follow you around for it. This has led to some weight gain, so it would be very beneficial for him to be in a home where he can start on a diet (but don’t tell him that!).

He would thrive in a quiet adult home with previous cat experience and no other pets. He may do well with a calm cat who would respect his space. He tends to get beat up by other male cats, so a female or no other cats would be preferred.

Findley deserves a loving, safe, and patient home that will allow him to learn to trust people once again. Once he learns that a family will never hurt him again, we know he will be an even greater cat than he already is! Can you show that to him?

Findley is neutered, current on vaccinations (Rabies and Distemper), is microchipped, and has been tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia (he tested negative for both).
