Meet Zazzy! This adorable girl is about 2 years old. She was rescued from a farm with some other kitties. She has been a Tabby Town resident since June of 2016. Zazzy is not a feral cat, but she has minimal human socialization. She is inquisitive and interested in people, but she is very unsure and untrusting of people. She will approach you and sniff your fingers, but she is not quite ready to allow petting. Because she expresses interest in human interaction, we believe that she may be able to be socialized. Living at Tabby Town doesn’t allow her the quiet, one-on-one interactions that she needs to trust people. She will need a dedicated owner that is willing to put in the time and effort she needs. She may never fully trust humans and may never act like a “normal” cat. We may consider a barn-type environment. Since she has been indoors for so long, we will not feel comfortable with her living back outside. Because she is not truly feral, we would prefer a home environment over a barn. Zazzy interacts well with other cats, so she would not cause a problem with any existing cats. In fact, she might do best with a companion. Zazzy will always have a safe home here at Tabby Town, but we would love for her to be able to have her own space and have an official place to call home. Zazzy will be a special adoption, if you are interested in adopting this pretty girl, please call the shelter at (716) 822-4910, or email kaylee@tabbytown.org and ask to make an appointment with her guardian, Missy, who will be handling his adoption process. Zazzy has been spayed and has been tested for FIV and feline leukemia (she tested negative for both)
