Meet Grandma Gissmo. This gorgeous, talkative, polydactyl 18 year old torti is still at Tabby Town. She was surrender to the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter back in March of 2016 because her owners were moving and could not take her. The wonderful volunteers there thought she might feel more comfortable in Tabby Town's senior center, so she has been with us ever since. She is not out front, s he is in the back in a quiet room for seniors, so those interested in adopting her must ask specifically about her or the seniors there. She is not a fan of cats BUT she lives in a room with other cats and just does her own thing. She will yell at cats who get too close and sometimes swat, but "her bark is worse than her bite." She is quite the character, she loves pets and will yell at you for attention. Gissmo has hyperthyroidism which is controlled with one small pill 2x a day, which she takes like a champ! She also has some mild arthritis, for which she is on a pain med 1x daily. This lady deserves a wonderful, loving home in which she can live out the rest of her days. PLEASE consider opening your home to her. She should have a nice cushy couch to sleep on and a window to watch some birds!!! If you are interested, please visit Tabby Town in the McKinley Mall!!!
