Meet Sam Atlas! This handsome man is about 6-7 years old. He was originally adopted from Tabby Town a few years ago, unfortunately his family had to move and could not take him so he sadly found himself back with us. He has been back at Tabby Town since February of 2018.

Sam recently had some blood work done that indicated he was in the beginning stages of kidney disease. This is very common in older cats, but Sam is still a middle aged guy. To help slow down the progression of the disease, he is eating Royal Canin Renal food. He should enjoy many more years with monitoring, proper diet and routine veterinary care. 

After being at Tabby Town for a year, Sam has become a bit more feisty and pent up then he originally was. The other cats at Tabby Town can cause him to get a bit stressed, so he can be feisty some times. With a relaxed and quiet home, we think he would feel much more comfortable and allow his true loving and fun personality to shine through. 

Sam can be a sweet guy. He enjoys attention, including petting and playing on his own terms. He loved living in a home, and would love to be in one again. He wants a place that he can call his own, where he would be the king of the castle. Sam has shown us that he really does not like other cats, so he should be the only one in the home.

Sam would do best in a low stress home with prior cat experience, no small children, and no other cats.

Sam is neutered, current on vaccinations (Rabies and Distemper), has been treated for fleas, dewormed and has tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia.
