Meet Maxwell! This handsome guy is about two years old. He was rescued by Rochester Animal Services. He has been at Tabby Town since May of 2018.

Maxwell is eating Royal Canin Sensitive Digestion. Regular dry food seemed to upset his stomach and cause discomfort. We switched his foods and it seems to be helping him.

Maxwell is very active and playful. He has a lot of energy so he can get a little feisty sometimes. In addition, he doesn’t really like sharing his space with other animals, so being around other cats has stressed him out a bit. He lives in one of our larger condos so he has more space to jump around and stretch his legs. He would love a home where he could run around all day and have his own space.

Because of his feistiness, Maxwell should not be in a home with young children (under 12 years old) or with other animals. He needs a family that will wear him out so that he is not bored at home. He's not a big fan of being picked up, but does enjoy attention.

Maxwell needs a space and family that will allow him to blossom into the best version of himself. Once he has a home to run around in all day, and can be the king of the castle, he will feel much more comfortable!

Maxwell will be a special adoption. If you are interested in adopting this handsome man, please stop by Tabby Town or call the shelter at (716) 822-4910 and ask to set up an appointment with Tabby Town’s amazing behaviorist Sue, she will be handling his adoption process.

Maxwell is neutered, up to date on vaccinations (rabies and distemper), and tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia.
