Meet Bernice! This adorable tabico lady is about 2 years old. She was found as a stray in Rochester and rescued by the Verona Street Animal Society. She has been at Tabby Town since July of 2018.

Bernice was found to have urinary crystals, which is easily treated with a special diet, monitoring and a low stress environment. She is currently on a diet of Royal Canin SO, this diet prevents crystals from forming and also prevents crystals from adhering to the bladder wall.

Bernice is a sweet and friendly girl, she likes attention and will approach you for love. She is very playful which can sometimes cause her to become a bit feisty. Once she has been played with and has had her energy drained she is a real sweet heart.

Bernice can be around other cats, but she does not like to interact with them. She would do best as the only cat in the home or with another independent cat.

Bernice is spayed, current on vaccinations (Rabies and Distemper) and has been tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia.
