Meet Chestnut, an orange domestic short hair who is about 4 months old. He was rescued with his sister "Coconut" by a Good Samaritan who brought them to Tabby Town. They were fighting severe eye issues and baby colds. The wonderful care they received from Dr. Stanz, Dr. Mineo and the won derful staff at Animal Eye Care of WNY saved their eyesight, but Coco suffered some permanent damage caused by an eye ulcer that had burst resulting in limited sight to her left eye.

Chestnut is sweet, gentle, curious & loving, a purring machine! He loves to be out and about exploring his surroundings, but when he becomes tired he likes to cuddle up for some attention. Chestnut would be a great addition to your family, but of course not without his sister Coconut. They have been together since birth and have become very close.

Because of their rough beginning these kitties need a lower stress home, no small children please. Coco and Chestnut are looking for that special home where they can be together. We will be requiring that the pair be adopted together. Stop by the Island Pet Lodge and let them entertain you! You will fall in love and wonder how you ever lived without them!
