Meka came from an elderly owner and Meka lacked some socialization skills, so it has been hard for her to cope in a shelter environment.  She is adjusting nicely but can be a bit defensive on occasion.  As a declaw, her defense are her back claws or a gentle bite.  She is nice cat and wants happiness and a window.

Meka would probably do best in a calm, low stress home with a cat savvy adopter with no other cats, dogs or children.  Meka needs someone who can be patient and learn to understand her and let her come around on her terms.
