Meet Patches and Maude, two sweet girls.....wait, what?? Wait a minute......no! Actually they are two handsome boys! Patches(the white and orange cat) and Maude, (the grey cat). No wonder they were looking at me funny when I kept calling them “my good girls” lol 
At Tabby Town we were all under the assumption that this cute bonded pair were girls. We learned different after their first check up with our visiting veterinarian!.....what a surprise!  This is not the first ti me this has happened and probably won’t be the last! When you have a busy, thriving adoption center like we do these things can happen. Patches and Maude, (who has been nicknamed Max), were just happy to have all our loving volunteers shower them with attention. 

Patches and Maude are both five years old and have wonderful long hair. Maude is a front paw polydactyl. He also loves to “chat”, if you enjoy a talkative cat this pair is for you. The funny thing is that he is the more shy guy of the two of them. That’s okay with Patches as he brings Maude along when he gets shy. When you open their condo to visit with them they both come running up for affection. Their owner, sadly, passed away, but you can tell they have been well loved as they enjoy their humans very much. Patches and Maude get along well with all of our other cats, we are not sure about dogs and children would be great.
