Don’t let the expression on Cookie’s face fool you. She is not grumpy, or mad. She is just trying to get used to her surroundings. She hasn’t had the best life so far and we need your help to see that she is adopted into a wonderful home, surrounded by the love, comfort and attention she deserves. 

Cookie is 9 years old and has spent most of her life in a windowless basement because there was a dog in the home and she was terrified of him. She was recently rehomed into another bad situation where she wasn’t taken care of. Thanks to one of our rescue partners, West Side Cat Rescue, she is now safe with us here at Tabby Town. 

In spite of what she has lived through, Cookie is an amazing cat. She is sweet and affectionate and enjoys a good scratch by her tail! She appears to be shy in her condo, but don’t let that fool you. If you spend sometime with her she will show you how wonderful she is.  

She probably would do best in a home that is quiet and calm. The only other requirement is that you have a place for her by a window so she can see the world she hasn’t had an opportunity to enjoy.
